Happy Halloween
Alexandra here. We had a very full All Hallows Eve. First we went to the Baker-Sullivan house in McLean (aka Kenna and Quinn's crib), then onto the annual Mandy/Amy Old Town party. Here I am sampling my loot at Amy's house.
Treat or treating in Old Town. South Lee Street was a zoo.

CDS Costume Party
Mom here. Alex decided she wanted to be a "giraffe" for Halloween. After several weeks of intermittant questioning and trying to sway her with "isn't this a pretty princess costume?" (a beautiful hand-me-down from a neighbor), we went on-line and purchased a giraffe costume. :) This afternoon was Country Day School's Costume Party and Book Fair.

Meet my teachers
Ms. Jen and Ms. Carolina came over to my house to meet me this morning! There will be 9 kids (all within 6 months of my age) total in my class and we'll be called the "Polar Bears". They even brought 2 stuffed polar bears with them (see pictures). They told me all about what would happen when I start pre-school next week at Country Day School in McLean. Mom goes for parent orientation tomorrow and then my first day is next Thursday.
I even showed them my room and we looked at pictures. Ms. Jen and Ms. Carolina were very nice and I'm glad they are going to be my teachers.

Sunday Brunch with Anita
Baltimore Aquarium
Mom here. Aunt Anita visited us for the weekend from NYC. On Saturday we went to the Baltimore Aquarium. Here we are wearing our "3-D" glasses.
We loved the dolphin show. Alex had never seen real live dolphins, sharks, or sting rays before and she had the best time. (Warning: do not let any child under 5 watch the 4D show...its actually scary!)
